Pedro Almodóvar 在紐約。



我喜歡這篇訪談的細緻。訪問者踏入Pedro Almodóvar的酒店套房內,發現桌上一本Alice Munro的書曾在他的電影中出現過。他問了,艾慕杜華說:

「Yes, that is the one. I like her very much as a writer, but I have lots of these things in my movies, various clues and references. Of course, they are there as part of the movie, the story, so if you watch it two or three times you can still discover things. But I don’t only do it for the story and the audience; they are there also for me.」

簡單的回答,訪問者卻被打動了。他看見艾慕杜華對自身藝術的坦誠,他對製作電影的激情和在當中得到的樂趣。他說艾慕杜華顯然是對自己正在做的事樂在其中的人-讀到這裡我也覺得這是很顯而易見的嘛,可就是不會沒事就有這樣的透徹領悟。我經常很欣賞仰慕某個人,可我更常說不出為甚麼。是解構能力的大退步還是思考能力被糾纏成一堆亂糟糟的毛絨線,真是天曉得。

訪談中,艾慕杜華娓娓訴說許多電影場景中的物品其實是他在旅途中無意買下。買的時候純粹一見鍾情,過後才發現它們其實很適合戲里某個人物或場景。比如一隻在《The Flower of my Secret》里被Leo Macías壯烈摔破的相框,就是他之前在紐約MOMA或GUGGENHEIM买下。我喜歡訪問者這說法:They help him to tell the story and they are links from this world into his created one.

短短的一篇訪問,是否有內容可看,還是寫的人純粹在將我們都知道的事實重新再說一遍,很考一個人的功力。發問,聆聽,激情澎湃地消化過後,寫出一篇精簡好看的文章,其實需要很多的歷練修養和內涵。
